Beefs reeling down the stretch

Currently sitting in an 8 game losing streak the Beefs are struggling to find the form that won them last seasons playoff trophy. They seem to have struggled when rival teams have come in and pushed them about and despite a spirited and physical affair against the Chops they came up on the short side again. A brawl broke out in the 1st period after Rivet came in to protect his captain which kicked off the following.

The worrying thing about this is that as that Heatley received a 1 game suspension for his misconduct which puts one of the Beefs best goal scorers as the Knights of Columbus come to town for a rematch of last years playoff final. The two teams haven't met since the Beefs swept KoC in the final and with the Beefs in the middle of this horrid skid and without their 2nd leading goal scorer the outlook is bleak.

Talk is beginning to circulate that there may be a few players moved before tomorrows deadline and with the way the team is playing it is hard to see any player being safe. Playoff MVP was moved to the rival Chops in exchange for Luongo so we will see what further moves are made.
