Beefs make final cuts

GM Beef announced today that Nick Schultz and Denis Jr Gauthier have been let go to free agency. GM Homer had this to say. 'we would like to take this opportunity to thank these two guys for their services to the Beefs. Both were valuable players in getting both the Beefs and Baby Beefs to the playoffs however we feel their contracts were too large to be manageable at the farm level and they are spots we need to use to develop our recent draft selections'.

The cuts drop the Baby Beefs payroll down by $5.2m to a total of $17.73m

The Beefs now have a roster of 44 players and look just about set for the season ahead. 'We may need to look to free agency to gain a little depth to cover any potential injuries however we are happy with our roster for the upcoming season'
