Ladies and Gentlemen, let us all offer our congratulations to the inaugural 606HL Champions...your Stevenage Beefs!
Well done Homer - a whitewash of KoC was a great way to wrap up your first title

You're welcome homer.... now remember I traded you Heatley as a rental, you have to give him back.

Re: 606HL Champions
Haha thank you all. I would like to send my special thanks to Mr Driz for providing me with my leading playoff scorer in Duncan Keith, Mr Buffon for providing me with my leading playoff goal scorer in Dany Heatley and finally Mr Marc for providing me with my leading regular season point scorer in Brad Richards. Without you three this whole thing would not have been possible
Oh and Monty, it's not my fault you suck

Re: 606HL Champions
congratulations homer, one or two close OT games but the best team certainly won - cinderella story for the ailing GM and a nice reward for all the hassle and organisation as well.
i think i speak for nearly all of us when i join you in thanking Marc for his kind donations, but unfortunately all the players i got from him were mortal and therefore didn't have much chance of getting past Kipprusoff. i will be only drafting gods or semi deities like Perseus or Janne Niinemaa from now on.

Re: 606HL Champions
Thank you Joga, I think the sweep wasn't really indicative of how close the series was. Did you see there was a brawl in overtime of game 3? A few more of my guys got beaten up again
Also congratulations on winning the farm playoffs last night!

Re: 606HL Champions
yeah, emotions were running high i guess! but you're the only team i've come across that's softer than mine! my tougher players have spent the season aspiring to "fight to a draw" so that's at least something to take away from the series.
