BEEFS WIN!!!
It has been a while but the Beefs finally get their first....and second wins of the season!
After 7 games to start the season the Beefs had a measly 13 goals, good for dead last in that category yet last night they doubled that total in just 2 games. Also Matt Climie, after waiting through 5 full seasons to get any kind of start (pro or farm) he jumped at the chance following the complete turmoil the team found themselves in. His 3.35 GAA might not be anything specia but his .910 sv% is respectable and with a 2-1-0 record he is streets ahead of all other goalies right now.
Meanwhile, new signing Kent Simpson was given a couple of starts to prove himself and did not disappoint keeping the Baby Beefs record a perfect 9-0-0 on the season. Rookie Marcel Noebels has proven why he was given a spot on the team putting up 6 goals and 6 assists in 9 games. Fellow first year players Juuso Ikonen and Jamie Oleksiak have also impressed putting up 7 pts each.
There are feelings that GM Homer has not finished tinkering with the lineup as it is well known he would like to get some of the farms top players up in the pro for a cup run but the extremely slow start has hobbled that plan pretty severely. The next 10 games could prove interesting for the Beefs as they play catchup.

Congratulations on the win! Its rather strange how your pro goalies have struggled so much yet your farm are shutting everyone out!

Cheers! It's got to be the team defence in front of them, although I still find that weird because they were decent last season! I lost Rivet to retirement but he was only a 5/6 defender and I have a whole farm with similar stats to what he had. Very weird indeed.....

My defence has fallen apart this season as well. I think the sim is just crazy
