Beefs on verge of elimination

Beefs on verge of elimination
Despite outshooting the Shamrocks in 2 of the 3 games so far the Beefs are on the verge of being swept. The series has been a lot closer than the 3-0 hole suggests as all 3 games have been settled by 1 goal and 2 of those were in OT. It is hard to pinpoint exactly what needs to be addressed as the team has played well but the Shamrocks have been just one step ahead the whole way. With their backs to the wall the Beefs have now run out of time and must find a way to win.
Paul Ranger who has missed a large chunk of playing time is on the verge of returning and GM Homer would love to have his services for this elimination game but he will be a game time decision.
After a 5-0 walkover in game 1 the Baby Beefs find themselves behind in their series with the Biggleswade Banshees thanks to a superb effort from James Howard. The Baby Beefs have outshot the Banshees 85-50 in the last 2 games but it wasn't enough as the Banshees won both games and now lead 2-1. The Baby Beefs cannot afford to go down 2 games so a win is a must tonight. Carey Price seems likely to get tonights start after a couple of shaky games from Kipper. It is hoped Price will be able to return to his regular season form and ensure the team evens up the series.

Re: Beefs on verge of elimination
So the Beefs manage to hold off elimination with their first win over the Shamrocks in over a year! About bloody time....now about that come back.
Re: Beefs on verge of elimination
The Beefs hold off elimination again and find themselves 1 win away from a game 7! Deslauriers is proving his doubters wrong and not throwing away his chance.
In the farm the Baby Beefs find themselves facing elimination as they fell 4-3 thanks to a shaky start from Price after he was so strong in game 4. He let in 4 goals on 11 shots before Kipper came in and shut the door the rest of the way but it wasn't enough as Howard kept enough out to get the win for the Banshees. The goalie situation is causing the coach a few headaches as both goalies have gone through good and bad games of late.
