Close Buff. You have the teams right in the fewest PIM's but not the year and you have one of the teams right in most PIM's as well as the decade.
Re: Resurrection of the great 606 Quizzes.....well kind of.
Did we ever get the answer to this? I'm missing the quiz

Leafy I think Homer killed it with his horrendous question - but alas but we shall solider on...
Right so at my last guess which was....
fewest PIMS: Leafs vs Wings in the 1930s
most PIMs: Pens vs Devils in the 1980s
... we know that Leafs and Wings were the right teams but the wrong decade so the next logical step is the 40s when we played a hella lot: and we know that one of the Devils and Pens was correct as was the 80s. Therefore I will shoot and say Pens and Islanders for the irony of it.

.... since Matt is away we might have to wait a while for the answer so I thought best to keep things rolling with a new Q...
Which team went 14-25-9 in a season and still won the Stanley Cup?

Woo - check me out. First shot and all. Right then - heres your starter for ten:
Since 2000, only three players have hit 50 goals in a season who weren't drafted in the first round. Who are they?

Good shot, indeed Pavel Bure in 00/01 and Milan Hejduk in 02/03. The other one is the harder of the three to get.....

Which Goalie has the record for the longest single game in which he reocrded a shutout (Post 1950). Bonus point if you can also name the goalie who conceded the lone goal in that game.

I think it was in the 70s but thats I far as I can go. I think it was a Canadien, but can't remember any goalies from Montreal in the 70s. As I'm stumped, I'll go Terry Sawchuk, who's not a Canadien and barely in the seventies.

Well if you're going to hand out "Join the Navy" flyers on an airforce base I'm not surprised they're getting stroppy.....

Post 1950??? I know that the Redwings beat the Canadians and the Leafs beat the Bruins both in the sixth period of overtime 1 zit but that was back in the 30s. George Hainsworth used to rack up a phenomenal number of pre-war overtime wins too.
But as for the modern period two names immediately came to mind, Ron Hextall and Dominic Hasek, Flyers vs Sabres

I love the offseason as I was looking at this a month or so a go! I know the two teams were Buffalo (thanks buff you reminded me) and New Jersey so I would have to say Hasek wining and Brodeur losing, I think it was in 95?

Yeah well done guys. It was Hasek with the win for Buffalo and Brodeur with the loss for NJ.
Ill let the tow of you fight over who gets the next question, as you both helped eachother out with that answer.
