The Buffalo one is a Mika, and the surname is similar, but its not Korbenen.

The opposite of Kor-ben-en
must be like Pwhoar-bill-fr
Pwhoarbilfr, that must be the fella's name

Noronen! Thanks Rugby-leaf, that reminded me - I kept thinking of Korhonen (the car drivist) but after our Scottish friends Voreonen it jumped to me. Still no idea on the other one though...

Tugnutt? He's the only Ottawa goalie of note I can remember. If not, then it must have been a journeyman or backup that played infrequently.

Noronen is correct.
One more.
Tugnutt is close. The goalie in question ended up as the backup to Tugnutt during his time in ottawa.

Well I'm out, as I only remember Tugnutt as a backup.

Indeed. Tugnutt's backup must have played once or twice? His goals to games ratio is probably better than Scott Gomez's

Gomez is prolific right now. His 2 goals are joint 53rd in the past fortnight equalling the great Marcus Kruger.

Yeah, i don't think anyone was going to come up with that name on their own.
As you all combined for the answers who ever gets threre first can ask the next question.

OK, The very first Cup produced by Lord Stanley was a silver Rose Bowl. How much did it originally cost in $$?

Absolutely spot-on. $50 was the cost of the original Stanley Cup in 1892.
Your go Marc!

Marc seems reluctant to ask a question so......
How many games have been penalty free this season?
For a further point. Only 4 teams have been involved in more than one penalty free game this season, name them.

I didn't think penalty free games, were allowed. I thought they were written into the 10 commandments of hockey...

Blimey. The last penalty-free game I remember is the Bruins game 7 against the Bolts last season.
Er, so I'll say there have been 34 games with no penalties and the four teams are the Bruins, Isles, Flyers and Rangers
Seriously I have no idea.

Not got the number of games yet. From the teams you have got the New York Islanders. I like how you have picked teams who have a tendency to be PIM heavy lol
