I think you've got it Homer. Surley it has to be a goalie to come in as a rookie in the playoffs and get enough ice time to earn MVP.

Going with Tie Domi for most in a career, and possibly Mr NHL Discipline himself, Brendan Shanahan for most in a season?

Dave Schultz is always worth a guess for questions involving PIMs and fighting (I don't think it's him though)

I think a contender has to be Torrie Robertson - i seem to think he got over 50 majors one year -didnt he also have the record for the most penalty mins ever amassed for the Whalers?

Im going to guess somebody like Craig Berube or Tiger Williams for the career record

Well done Welshy, it was Torrie Robertson, and well done Driz he had 51 fighting majors whilst playing for the Whalers (still defunct so the right ball park Driz) in the 1985-1986 season- a single season record!!

Tiger Williams has the most PIMS ever (I think) but not the most fighting majors in a career so that one is still up for grabs...

Hmmm! I'm stumped on the career one! If not Dave 'Tiger' Williams I would, like Leafy have said Domi as he seemed to me to spend a good deal of his ice time fighting (not to mention fighting with spectators lol!).

If not Domi, the only other thug, sorry enforcer, I would think of that spent a tasty amount of time doing the fisticuffs would be Marty McSorley.
