After Game Press Conference

Marauders GM Nick Mason appeared for the first time in public after taking over from Azzy as the GM of the hockey club.
He had made the following press release.

"The Marauders management are delighted to annouce that we have aquired this team and are already looking to stop the rot that has resulted in a SO loss followed by an OT loss tonight. This form leads us to believe that a loss is due in the next match, so this means that we will make no changes to our lines or playing staff."

At this point head coach Dan Bylsmas jaw was heard to hit the floor, and he visibly started sweating.

Press officer Jannick Deveral then stepped up to the podium and delivered this press release.

"What our esteemed GM is trying to say is that we are currently looking into any and all ways to improve this team. All playing staff are being considered for their input in all areas and we may be making a few trades before the deadline. All coaching staff are doing their very best to improve the club with the playing staff available, so they will be continued to be allowed to do their jobs."

Team Captain *insert name when remembered * was on hand then to answer a few questions.

Q: How do you feel about the new management? Have they made any changes that you feel will improve the team?
A: Uhh, well, y'know, we come every night to play and, uhh, we haven't been giving it 110% as show in the results, uhh, so, I guess,
we'll have to give it our all in training and, uhh, got to the next match and be ready to give 120%.

Q: Do you think that there will be any changes to the playing or coaching staff in the next few days?
A: Well, all the players have been coming every night to play, and, uhh, the coaching staff have been giving 110% in training to prepare
us for these matches, so, y'know, I dunno, maybe?

So in summmary, there will and won't be trades, will and won't be coaching changes and y'know, they come every night to play.

Psh....my players give 140%.....well they used to. For some reason they have reverted to playing at about -140% lately after Gonchar came in and introduced them all to Russian Standard Vodka.
