You all knew that it was only a matter of time before I made this post but wow. 25 games in a row is insane with Ovi and Stamkos dropping off I think right now it is indisputable that he is the best player in the world. I know I will not get a lot of some support in this from some of the more ant-sid members on this board Razz

but some of the stuff he is doing on the ice is phenomenal.

I've always said Sid is the league's best player. Since his second year, cos his first one was marred by indiscipline. But no question - Sid the Kid is The Man Cool

I hate Crosby with an absolute passion especailly how he has played the games against the Rangers this year. However he is a exceptional player and easily IMO the best in the world.

It's often the way; the candidates to throne of "best" gradually thin out and the last man is left standing! Crosby is an exceptional player and frankly the Pens are very lucky to have him. The future looks rosy in Pittsburgh. Glad he plays in the East...
