Goalie controversy within the Beefs?

With the recent hot run of Elliott coming to an end and Kipper still looking shakey in goal the Beefs put a call up for Erik Ersberg from the Bedwell Baby Beefs who has been having a steller season so far. 'We felt he had earned a shot on the big team with his performance and he didn't let us down' said GM Homer. This however has led to some speculation over what direction the Beefs intend to go with their goalies especially with the recent acquisition of Matt Climie giving the Beefs a mass of goalies in the farm.

When asked about a possible trade with goalies Homer replied 'We are not actively looking for a trade however we are open to offers. If we have to run with 3 quality goalies then that gives us a great range of choices heading into the latter stage of the season. If someone gives us an offer that is worth considering then we would be stupid not to.'

The big question however revolves around Kiprusoff who remains the teams #1 netminder however also carries the biggest price tag and with the expectation of a few raises for some of the other players, cap room is tight.
