World Juniors
So the World Juniors are in full flow and I finally have a day of rest.
I fancy that USA-Russia game on in just over an hour!
Anyone got a link?

Ahh but it is NHL America so I am going to presume that you have to be IN the U S of A for it to work

Re: World Juniors
You get in trouble for watching Juniors these days.
Just ask Jimmy Savile.

To be fair he would probably argue that you don't get in trouble as long as you die before being caught! haha
Re: World Juniors
Was a good game. Seth Jones did play well for the first two periods but was partly culpable for the 2nd Russian goal and seemed to be wayward after that. Thought Trouba had an excellent game and has a boomer on him so surprised he was being forced to shoot from the boards. Yakupov was mental blocking everything head first!

Re: World Juniors
Yep you are right, Jones slowed down a lot. Seemed to me it was down to trying to do too much early on as it looked like the defence wanted to take offence into their own hands.
Re: World Juniors
I missed the Canada-USA game only saw highlights but USA looked the same as they did against the Russians.
Hoping to see Russia-Canada tonight before heading out for NY but no doubt will get dragged out before it finishes....

Currently watching the replay of the USA v Canada game. First good look at Subban and Hamilton and I'm pretty happy. Looking forward to seeing them in the spoked B.
Happy New Year chaps.

Re: World Juniors
USA vs Canada rematch tomorrow morning! I didn't see the game today but from what I read it sounded like USA were a different team and firing on all cylinders. Should be interesting to see if it makes a difference tomorrow.

Indeed Sir...He racked up a monster amount of points, last season, for the Portland Winterhawks. Which in it's self is most hilarious as they are the Blackhawks feeder team, and he is their standout player...by a mile
I was hoping this season The Blues might throw him into the big league, to see how he goes...which might be more likely should we get a shortened season. That said, at the last trade deadline, a few teams were looking to package him in trade negociations, so it wouldn't surprise me if he moves on - like Lars Eller did.

Re: World Juniors
Ahh that would suck for you! Hopefully they keep a hold of him, he could add to an already solid group of young guys up front!
Re: World Juniors
Was at the BC v UNC college game last night, and Johnny Gaudreau was given a great reception.

Also from last night's game; here's JVR's little brother Trevor.
Joe Pavelski's baby brother was also on the UNH team. Didn't help them much as they lost to Boston College 5-2.
But damn, it was good to be watching hockey again.
