Playoffs!!

At least the leafs showed fight to get back from 3-1 down in the series! Choker award still goes to the caps!

I think Leaf fans can be proud of their team after that series. Pulling back to game 7 after a 3-1 deficit against a team like the Bruins is some feat. People go on about experience in the playoffs.... well they learned some valuable lessons which should make them stronger.

As Mr Pete said, they put up more of a fight than the Caps! Damn near won it in OT as well.

I was annoyed at 4-3 because if Toronto were gonna win I'd want Kessel to score the winner and the 3rd Boston goal stopped that. Great series anyway.

If they did hold on then both conferences would have 1 vs 7 & 5 vs 6 in the 2nd round.

Well that was exciting.

When Rask made that save to keep it at 4-2, I started to think that maybe, just maybe, the Bruins could pull off a miracle. I've seen them do the old pull the goalie and score twice in the dying seconds trick a couple of times now.

And when it went to OT, I knew they'd do it.

But bloody hell, the Leafs made them work for it. Reimer was outstanding, and Lupul and Kessel scared the crap out of me everytime they got the puck.

Great series, and a shame there has to be a loser.

Lundqvist played out of his skin last night, but got bugger all help from his team-mates.

I do feel a bit sorry for the Providence Bruins though. They're in a game 7 tonight against the Scranton Penguins (Calder Eastern Conference Semi-final) and would love to have Torey Krug in the line up. The Bruins were 3-0 up in the series (oh boy, does that sound familiar). But the Penguins have forced a game 7.

Yeah, I did feel sorry for the Baby Bruins. They should have had Krug and Bartowski in the team, but of course they've been called up to play with the big boys.

But well done to the WBS Penguins. They didn't give up.

So much for finishing off the Rangers last night. Sigh.
