Playoffs!!

Ah, I was just thinking who I could ask to be my taxi driver to the golf course for when the Bruins get kicked out of the playoffs. I usually ask Buff to do the honours, but it looks as if you or Homer will have the job this year.

Be careful. She tells you she will be only 5 minutes and you end up waiting a whole month!

But this has reminded me I need to get the play-off prediction league up and running pronto!

So I'm off work on Wednesday and start at 3pm on Thursday. Just my luck the Habs 1st game is the night before I have a 13 hour shift on Friday. Although that won't stop me staying up.

DIVISION CHAMPS!!!

So how are we all feeling about our teams now that everyone's played at least one game? Way too early to pick winners, but Driz must be happy with the Blues' 2-0 series lead.

The Bruins did their usual trick of turning up two minutes after puck drop and giving up an early goal. But then they remembered where they were and what they were supposed to be doing and scored four unanswered goals. Phew. But I'm anticipating a much closer game tomorrow night because surely the Leafs can't be that sucky two games in a row right?

We've been sucky for about 8 games now. Ever since that lucky shut-out win against the Devils about 3 weeks ago we haven't played one good game. All I am hoping for is one win in this series so they at least know what that feels like. Anything else is kind of a bonus.

I am currently arguing with my Canadian friends about this series at the moment. I am arguing that the Bruins are the worst possible opponents bar nobody for the Leafs to play for a number of psychophysical factors. They think Pens, Hawks, Habs would all have been worse etc. Dumb Canadians (not you though Mandy).

I am thoroughly disappointed with the way most of the results have gone so far.

The Rangers getting OVECHKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN'd tho is kinda good.

A little nervy in the fact that it needed a strike from Jaxx, in the final minute, to seal game 2. The noise when that hit the net, didn't only raise the roof on the Barn, but blew the speakers on my laptop. Truly awesome!!!

Two big games to come in LA. Need to nick one of those, which isn't going to be easy as the Kings are bound to ramp up the rhetoric on home ice. Come out of that 3-1 up and I see no way back for LA...But, if it's 2-2, then it's advantage LA and I think they will go on and take the series.

The 3rd period of every game is torture. Fair play to Ottawa, they're out scoring the Habs 9-0 in the 3rd period.

He's over on 606v2. Last posted in the hockey section around trade deadline. He said he hopes the Nucks beat the Pens for the cup after the Iggy trade.

Suprising, as Azzy always insisted that winning the Presidents trophy was a bigger achievment then winning the Stanley Cup... Unless of course any team othe then the Nucks won it

3 of the 5 games so far against the Ducks have gone to OT.
