I am not going to lie. This is a huge disappointment to me. Uneven divisions/conferences is what made me give up on MLB. I can not stand them. Tonight I am considering if I am still a hard-core NHL fan.

Uneven divs is fucking bullshit. Easier for "west" teams with only 6 opponents to make playoffs.

Yeah, but east has the Islanders East, Leafs and Colombus so its really only 13 teams to compete with...

Although West has Islanders West, Edmonton 1st picks and Dallas so i suppose your point stands cheers

Jonzee is only unhappy because the Flyers suck balls this season. Suck it up and have faith, faith in your team and faith that some team in a hot climate will be in Quebec City in a few years.

Buff, MLB has even conferences now. Houston got bumped to the AL West.

Lopsided conferences is so unbelievably retarded I just can't stomach it... if they don't announce a league expansion or contraction soon (seems unlikely) they are in serious danger of losing me as a fan

I've watched every Eagles game for 5 years. I've watched all our Flyers games this year.

As a Wings fan, I'm not that bothered. The West has less teams so surely a PO spot should be easier, but yet for the last few years, you've needed more points to make a PO spot in the West, than you have in the East.

We don't play the Ducks as often - CON
We're not in the smaller conf - CON
We're in a conference we seem to do well in - PRO
Puck drop times closer to GMT - PRO

Meh, seems even trade to me.

The thing is I was a Habs fan all of last season. Only the lockout made me post that thread. And I was joking about the Flyers sucking being the reason you don't like it. I was having a pop because if they suck again next season they'll have to play the Canes and Caps more often so might be tough to get back to winning ways.

I'm not a fair-weather fan either. Been a Giants fan since 2006 and Mets since 2009. Chelsea since 1994.
