Boston's win over the Devil's in overtime was huge considering the Thrashers beat the Leafs. The win keeps Boston's noses in the playoff spaces and with the Rangers also winning we now have 4 pts seperating 6th and 10th.

In the West the Kings win gives them a little breathing space in 7th spot and the Canucks inch closer to clinching a playoff spot, now needing just 1 pt.
