Some big results again here. Washington secured the top seed with the Devils loosing and a Flames win mixed with a Colorado loss keeps the Flames slim playoff hopes alive. They currently sit 4 pts back of the Avs although Colorado have a game in hand.

Also the Flyers win over the Devils helps keep them at the top of the playoff bubble in the East. With 6 pts seperating 5 teams for the final 3 spots it looks to be an interesting run in.

the caps were awful in the first period, although credit to the flames they were very good. the leafs have been very good recently. slight worry for next year? they have a great team at the moment and with a pretty high draft pick this year...oh wait. woops. sorry leafs fans
