Thoroughly enjoyed it. The Phaneuf saga was interesting. Cleary comes across well, and so does Alfredsson so far.

I found the whole thing a bit too... boring. I guess not having a real vested interest or hatred in either team has a part to play in that.
I do agree with the above statement that the Phaneuf stuff was interesting. Nonis and his pal trying to justify the hit was hilarious.
Oh yeah, and Lupul towing the woman.

The Wings having that meal talking about "13" was just awful. You could almost hear the guy off camera going "hey talk about Datsyuk!". It just felt way too forced.
I think it will get better. Put Datsyuk on a practice rink with a puck and that will be entertainment enough. Will be interesting to see what they do with Bertuzzi too.

I think it's going to be pretty 'same as' for the Wings. We're low on morale, and on motivation. Everyone is injured, including the called up guys. There's going to be less and less excitment around the Wings camp on the run up to the Classic.
On the plus side, it's looking like Gustavsson will be starting against the Leafs for the big game.

Caryle getting his toast stuck was my favourite bit but Jonzee said he came across as a bot of an ass

Re: 24/7 Part 1
Things should pick up a bit for the Wings if we can string some wins together. Last night we won in OT, which is almost unheard of with the Wings this season.
It might spark a bit of life into the team for the cameras too. Many of the players who I think have a good amount of charisma (Helm, Z, Abdelkader) are injured and so get less screen time.
It has made me realise that the guys I love to watch play hockey are not a lot of fun to watch in their daily lives!

Man, it's so depressing. Watching my own team lose repeatedly was bad enough, but then watching the Leafs do it too?
I'm just grateful we've now snapped our slump and have won 2 on the bounce, and in OT and SO no less. Hopefully pt3 should be much more uplifting from a Detroit point of view.
