Home again, home again
And in time to watch the Bruins. Bliss.
Been relieved of my storm duties and sent home. Hoorah, I'm way to old to be working 15 hour days, sleeping on office floors and not showering for three days.
It took me ages to dig my car out of the snow but at least it started first time. Total snowfall was about 80-90cm. Never seen anything like it and am wondering what house prices are like in Florida

And there was me about to apologise for littering your Twitter accounts with pictures of my snow covered car.
My storm assignment job title is Branch Logistics Co-ordinator (ooh, get her!), but I have changed it to Branch Logistics Co-ordinator and Senior Hockey Advisor. We've had crews come in from all over the country, and my Bruins hat was spotted by guy from Minnesota who was wearing a Wild hat. We discussed our fantasy teams, and he asked me if it was true that the Bruins/Bolts game had been postponed and I was able to confirm that it was. (I mean come on, we've got 500,000 customers without power, but getting one's fantasy lines sorted is the main priority). He came back later with a big bag of mini Snickers for me as a thank you.

No you wouldn't, because I would have made you shovel my driveway. (If I have to work, then so does everyone else).
