Please post any concerns you have related DIRECTLY to your team here. I want to try and keep the suggestions thread only for posts related to how the league is running in terms of average number of shots/goals/hits whatever rather than specific performances of players. Anything you want to talk about related to that please post them here Smile

I have a concern about my team, Matt.

They are not undefeated, and this is a major worry for me. Could you have a look at it? Thanks.

I also have a problem...offensively I think I have the best defense in the league....defensively they are the worst(as 41 goals conceeded proves). How can you help me?

Either sign up a Marsh Farm enforcer or get a decent goalie. You have a choice between Osgood or Giggy! Wink

This happened in one of my games:

Patrice Bergeron beats up Sean Avery

I demand satisfaction.

I have a slight problem in so far as both Jeff Carter and Alex Semin rate high with shots but low with goals. This means they aren't very good. Can I send them to an opticians to get their eyes fixed?

You could always send them to Slip End, we would welcome them with open arms...As for opticians, I think we know enough not to trust them with the eyes of anyone we like!!!

not anything specific to me, but having a look through the latest league file, should we not be worried that nobody is going to break even by the end of the season?
in fact the closest are a combination of me with -$2 million and something and the bumnotes and dyslexia united with -$3 million and something, in fact most are miles off breaking even, with some.... naming no names other than the team whose name is stolen from an NHL team, and the commisioner none-other Razz on -$16 million and something
or is it just not possible to run a profitable organisation?
just wondering Smile

Yes I have noticed the finances thing and I think it is related to the fact that we are running with a higher cap hit than the NHL. I am trying to find out more information at the moment but if I can't find it soon then I will look at increasing what we started with as bank balances.

I'm looking at moving to a bigger arena to cope with the profit shortfall. Anyone know of a spare 40000 seater arena with horrendously expensive concession stands? Or a wealthy sugar daddy?

had any injuries that might have caused your lines to get auto'd?

if not I've had a thing where the program saves my lines to desktop rather than the folder I normally put them in, so I have to replace it every time - no chance that it's not doing the same for you and you're therefore accidentally emailing in old lines?

when I did the sim last night a number of teams had only sent in lines for the games to be played, the simulator gave me an error that the next games were not complete so auto'd them before I had output the file. That may be why they appear odd in the file. Can you check the lines were as you expected for the last game you played?

I didn't receive a file from you for yesterday so had to auto them, that might be why.

I want to know what advice Homer gave the Bumnotes and their defence, especially as they conceded 8 last night! Laughing
