In his telephone conversation he said it was self defence, frog is fined 2.5 flies.

Perhaps the fella getting hit is the Sean Avery of the toad world and therefore had it coming?

The evidence of the water ripples suggest the offending toad had already been antagonised

I do think we need to see a bigger sample, the victim may have put himself in a vulnerable position prior to the hit.

I think they might even be team mates. They have the same jersey on...

Both dropped their stick, so the victim toad was obviously agreeing to the fisticuffs.

Having seen further footage, it appears toad right is going to get 2min for (water) boarding and a further penalty for instigation.

Both are then getting fighting majors and slung out on game misconduct penalties.

Clearly they are celebrating a gaol with a kiss and a chest bumb.

I think gaol is possibly a little bit harsh. I was thinking more along the lines of a game misconduct and maybe a hearing with Shanaban.
