2012 Stanley Cup Conference Quarter Final Predictions

Samuelsson, Weiss, Versteeg, Upshall, Kopecky...and I actually wondered if CJ had lost it saying Theodore...and then a few moments later realised that, oh yeah, he does play in Florida now...

So I remembered 5 off the top of my head. What do I win?

Theodore, Clemmenson, Kulikov, Gudbranson, Jovanoski, Versteeg, Felishmann, Weiss, Garrison , Campbell, Wolski.... 11 is good, helps that most of them have played in one of my many fantasy teams at some point this season

Buff, that officialy makes you the Panthers biggest fan!

I want to go and play a couple of games with the Panthers on NHL 12. But I have it on PS3 so I can only view the menu or it crashes

Well I did say that if I wasn't a Leafs fan the Panthers would be one of the teams I would consider...

The only time I watched Florida play this year was against the Jets, but I couldn't see who was playing because Kyle was in the way...

It's ok. I've got over it now. I have consigned the game to the drawer and to never darken the ps3 again.

Me too ronnie, It won't load any saved games, and it won't update rosters. Ill go back to playing on the 360 next year.

I think X-box owners are affected too but perhaps not as many.

I do have some principles and I just can't bring myself to giving EA any more of my cash. All they care about is putting out a game that has minimal changes from the previous release to coincide with the new hockey season and to make as much money as possible.

Since moving house in January, my Xbox hasn't actually made it out of storage, and most noticeable of all, is that I really don't care. I'm not missing it in the slightest.

Even when I did play you guys, I'd scrape a win here or there, and then play someone like Marc and get destroyed.

Coyotes bin the Hawks with a 4-0 win in game 6.

Chicago, Detroit, Vancouver and San Jose are all out in 1st round. There's usually a surprise or two in the playoffs, but the West as a whole has been a surprise!

Yeah, the west has been crazy. Preds v Yotes. The immovable object v immovable object. Whichever team grabs the lead is then going to hang on for the 1-0 a la 1980s Arsenal....

The East could end up looking more normal as you can see the Rangers and Bruins joining the Flyers now they've both taken it to a game 7.

Only question now....how many shut outs will the West semis see? lol

Driz, compared to the prospect of the Preds v Yotes I'm positively salivating at the Blues v Kings match-up!

I have to say that I'm riding the Blues bandwagon. I'd love to see them do well, not just for one of my close friends who is a huge Blues fan, but because he's on a once-in-a-lifetime trip around the world. So despite having a season ticket, he has missed the playoffs altogether because he's in Fiji, or Tonga, or Ummy-gummy land. Either way, it's hilarious that he's spent years watching the Blues be an average team, only to be on the other side of the globe when they become a kick-ass playoff contender!

That and I think Brian Elliott's transformation from Ottawa nobody to St Louis All Star is the stuff legends are made of.

This! Imagine it was a Blues taking out the Sens in the final oh boy!

I fancy the Preds taking the West. I kind of wavered when making my prediction and played it safe (went for the Wings in 6) but they are a very solid and difficult opponent. I don't really care for their style but it is effective.

As for a Blues v Sens final.....that's only a pipe dream at the moment. We still have a long way to go, and we have to find a way passed Quick, first.....and it's given ME two sleepless nights just thinking about it.

I fancy the Preds, too. Rinne is another minder we struggled with during the regular season.

Should we get passed LA, it will be out of the frying pan and into the fire!!!
