Well I've backed LA all the way (usually it's the only one I got right!) and I think Richards, Carter and Kopitar can do it in 5. Not that they will, it'll be down to Quick and Brown.

I wanted to say in six but then it would be tough to get the record for most away wins. Plus NJ seem to do better than I expect in every series so I plonked an extra game on there. BTW chrome doesn't believe plonk is a word Shocked

Germany to win.....are you having a giggle. They are in even worse shit than us. Both teams will be out in the group stage.

Spain V Ukraine for the final...Spain, because they are the best team, by a country mile. Ukraine, well a mix of brown envelopes, prostitutes and good old threats of violence and torture towards UEFA officials.

If England go for the dour everybody behind the ball and nick a goal on the break approach then they may get further than the group stage. It's when they try to play football they usually get in trouble. And there are a few genuine contenders for the trophy.

But yeah, although the play-offs have been wildly unpredictable for some reason the further they go the less interested I am this season. Maybe it's because it's been ages since I've got to watch the Ducks and maybe it's because the bloody arch-rivals are coasting their way to the cup - I don't know. The finals certainly don't seem to be living up to those of last season. A sweep in a Stanley Cup Final? What an anti-climax....

As good as LA have been, the other teams in the playoffs have all been struggling for form/contingency. Even the Pens Flyers series with all the goals and PIMs, neither team played well enough to look like a contender.

I think the potential of a sweep by the number 8 seed in the Stanley cup finals is a pretty good climax.

Each to their own. But I can't be alone in thinking 4-0 in a Stanley Cup final series is never going to be a satisfying climax - regardless of the circumstances.
