Ducks do it again!
For the second time in three games the Flaming Ducks scored the game winner with just four seconds remaining in the game.
After Jamie the beef slayer scored the winner after 19:56 in the 3rd a few days ago to defeat the beef, Jarret Stoll did the exact same thing in last nights victory of the NYC Crunch. Despite being outshoot, Jimmy Howard performed brilliantly saving 32 of 33 shots allowing the Ducks to come back from a goal behind. The Crunch opened the scoring early in the third period before Enver Lisin tied it up with just under four minutes remaining. The game looked to be heading to OT, but Stoll had other ideas connecting with a glorious pass from Rich Peverley.
The Ducks cling on to top spot in their division, but with teams below having played fewer games, they will be hoping the heroics continue.

You better not be making a habit of this or I might have to shorten the games.........

Playing hockey is like dating a woman, you have to maintain enough stamina to score at the end.

But if you wait until the last minute to score you score a munter

Good to see the Ducks doing well, Iggy. Although I don't know how you got Jimmy Howard to start playing. The words "fucking" and "useless" don't begin to describe the sad sacks I had to stick into the net every game. I think the starter used to get pulled after 10 minutes in about 75% of the games...

Jimmy's contract is up at the end of the season, he clearly wants a pay rise. Also having one of the lowest shots against totals in the league is helping.
