Marchand signs for 2 years

The Bruins have signed Brad Marchand to a 2 year $5m deal paying $2m in year 1 and $3m in year 2. Sounds like a pretty damn good deal to me.

Confirmed, two years, $5 million for Marchand in Boston. Makes $2 million this year and $3 million in 2012-13.

As you can imagine, I am absolutely delighted with this. Glad the deal was finally done. There were plenty of rumours that the delay was due to Marchand and Neeley not getting along. But Marchand kept saying the deal was always going to happen, he just wasn't sure when.

Anyway, a huge relief and I can't wait for the season to start.
