Is this really true? According to my TSN daily update............

Kyle Wellwood is to singlehandedly prop up the local branches of Dunkin' Donuts in an unlikely move which sees the rotund skater extend his twilight years once again.

Seriously, (and I can't wait for Calamity Jane's comments on this topic cos I know she's such a fan!!!) what can Wellwood bring to the Jets?

Unless they plan to lay him on his side in front of the net I can't see a need for him! Surely there are enough prospects out there worth taking a chance on, rather than pay this guy for another year??? Laughing

Haha, that's awesome! I expected him to sign for Lokomotiv tbh, but having Welly on the Jets is hilarious Very Happy

Do the Jets have a Dunkin' Donuts spokesman? Tyler Seguin has the job for the Bruins. It just involves reading an autocue badly and turning up at local Dunkin' Donuts with Blades and giving away tickets. I'm sure Kyle could do that. Though you'd have to have someone keeping an eye on him to make sue he didn't nick all the jelly donuts.

Damn. Now I've got a craving for a Boston cream pie. pig pig
