End of Season Awards

Following the end of the regular season, Badgers fans, players, media and backroom staff have been voting for the end of season awards.

Players Player award

Tomas Popperle - 43GP 24W 9L 4OT .922S% 2.34GAA

The Badgers netminder stole the starters job from Cam Ward and never looked back. Posting some awesome figures leading the Badgers to their third straight postseason.

Fan's Favourite Award

Jason Spezza

Jason came into the season with a disappointing previous season and many fans were questioning his big contract. Well Spezz won them over this season going 32-47-79 and always being available for autographs and photos.

Writer's Moment of the Season award

Evander Kane

The writers chose young Evander Kane for his 6pt night for the Moles against the Eskimos. Kane scored four goals, notched up two assists and a +5 rating. The best night for any player in the Badgers organisations history!

The Badgers would also like to congratulate Evgeni Malkin for his 102pt, +24 season. Another epic season leading the scoring line.
