Re: Pre-All-Star Awards
The race for the Hart at the moment is a two horse race between Malkin and Giroux in my opinion. Both have missed games this season yet still lead the league in points. Malkin is coming back after acl surgery under a year ago, Giroux had the responsibility of being a top line centre put on his shoulders and has been awesome. If the awards were tomorrow I would say toss a coin and that's the fairest way to choose!

Jason Garrison isn't a rookie.....

Dammit. He has come from nowhere so I just assumed he must be a rookie. Didn't realise he was 27 and played 150+ games!

Re: Pre-All-Star Awards
Jack Adams
Obviously, I would like to see Hitch get the award. But, going a little left field - how about Kevin Dineen down at the Panthers. In his 1st season with Florida, they are top of the division and if its wasn't for their inability to win in overtime, they would have a fair few more points.
Verzina
I think it will be a straight shoot out between Lundqvist and Thomas. Rangers and Boston players will always trump St Louis and Elliott isn't regarding as a no1.
Norris
I would like to see Pietroangelo get a mention. He is posting career best figures, whilst still playing a full part defensively, in what is the meanest defense in the league.
Hart
Surely Giroux has to be a shoe in. What team wouldnt want Claude on their roster.
Backes - Stewart - Giroux or Perron - Oshie - Giroux....i'm salivating at the thought!!!!
