Ok, since nobody knew, and everyone now hates me for killing the topic, I'll put you out your misery.
Patrik Sundstrom - New Jersey Devils.

Ok, an easier one now.
The goaltender who faced the most shots in a single game was Normie Smith in the longest ever recorded game in 1936. He also recorded a shutout. How many shots did he face?

I think I remember readiing about this. Was this a Redwings-Leafs cup game? I have no idea the amount of saves but would guess at 86. It has definately got to be over 70.

Actually I went with 84 because I was born in 1984 I have no idea on the answer so picked a similar method to picking lottery numbers
Edit: probably should have gone with the random number generator......

I picked 92 because it is correct. Or possibly the first two numbers my hand fell on on the keypad....

Really? Crikey as Penfold would say.
Right, obscure one now: This season, Daniel Winnik and Cody Hodgson joined Bill Guerin, Rem Murray, Sean Avery, Nik Hagman, Brian Campbell, Brad Boyes, Alex Goligogski and Jeff Halpern in a select group of players. What is their achievement (since 2000)?

Now you have added Brad Boyes, I think I have the answer.
They were all traded out on the same day of the year, that they were traded in. Boyes arrived on something like 12/3/08 and was traded out 12/3/11.

Theres an interesting factoid Mr Driz. Its not the answer but bonus points for knowing such a dinky little fact.
And sorry Buff, you are also incorrect.

Nope, think less about the trade itself and more about what a trade could cause....

Has it got something to do with waviers? Have they all been waived after a trade?

All missed out on playing in the play-offs after being traded? So the team that traded them made the play-offs and the team they were traded to missed the play-offs.
