I might do some predictions later but I will say that there is no way all 5 Pacific teams make it. Preds have a fairly easy run in so I reckon they will displace either the Stars or Ducks and sadly I don't see the Ducks being the team to drop out right now.

Come on Homer, keep the faith. It's going to be a Bruins/Stars final. Seven games, and the winner is the team with the last man standing.

That could be the first time 2 teams drop out of the league due to having hardly any players left! Nieuwendyk might need to lace them up

Honestly I can see us being the team to miss out by a point. Just seems to be how our season has been. Still immensely proud regardless of what happens in the next few weeks, they have proved a lot of people wrong.

People predicting the Ducks beating the Wings and losing against the Nucks? It'll be the other way around! And agree with, Homer...I'd put the Preds in the top 8 for sure.

Rather than play the who finishes where and who plays who I'll plump for a Wings vs Caps Stanley Cup final....

I put the Preds as 5th seeds! Though I also gave the Ducks seed 4 haha! I have the Ducks not ever playing the Wings -though I agree they seem to hate playing you almost as much as the Stars- and although I've got you losing to the Nucks you at least take them to 7!

Yeah, but Ducks have a very good record against Vancouver - less so against those bloody Wings. Preds are nothing special but they are one of those very annoying clogging teams that are total buggers to play if they get a lead...a little like the Yotes.

If they do make the play-offs I really would like to see the Ducks face the Kings. You know the two clubs have never qualifed for the play-offs in the same season and it's the type of thing that would really stoke the rivalry...

This is playoff hockey thought Ronnie and the Ducks always seem to give Detroit a good run in the playoffs even when written off. If it was a series with the Ducks and Wings my money would go on the Ducks regardless of regular season record.

Yeah, of course - they pushed them to seven games in round 2 back in 2009 when Hiller was immense. You're right - anything can happen in play-off hockey. I just really rate the Wings though - so much depth. And play-off or not - the Ducks have a horrible horrible record at the Joe.

Plenty of points to play for though - nothing is done and dusted yet!

As much as I'd like to see Nieuwendyk and Neely lacing 'em up when the Bruins and Stars have all their players sent off; I actually think it will be a seven game thriller between the Caps and the Nucks with the Nucks coming out on top.
