What team and why?

I know some of you have done this before on 606 but thought I would put it here as some guys are new and would be interesting to hear your stories!

So tell me, what team do you support and what made you choose them?

I picked the Leafs. I wanted a Canadian team, them being the home of hockey and our best players on the Kings being Brit-Cans. That left me Vancouver (who my friend picked so that was out), Quebec and Montreal (being French they didn't stand a chance) Ottawa (expansion at the time so no.) Thus I had the choice Toronto, Calgary or Edmonton. I ditched Edmonton but was torn between the history and actual city of Toronto or the funky Saddledome (who sat on the model I wonder?) and the talents of Theo Fleury. I can't remember what made my mind up exactly, but it may have been Wendel Clarks 'tache

I picked Pheonix, cuz Leafs were already taken... and I wanted a Canadian team but the Sens were the only ones left... so I was like... #$%@ that. Soooo, Phoenix and Telqvist and Cujo which were ex-Leafs and I liked them very much... and they are doing really well this year and I always wanted them to succeed so yeah

The Ducks....because I wish they all could be California girls...

Flames, simply because my Uncle James moved there when very young, and brought me back a Flames jersey! Simples!

Moved to Boston three years ago and fell headlong in love with game of hockey from day one of the 07/08 season. Made sense to choose the Bruin as my team and Marc Savard, David Krejci and Milan Lucic are all pretty cute

I've an aunt and uncle who have a farm in Sasketchewan and one in Manitoba, and a house in Vancouver. So thats why I'm a Leaf. (eh?) (Obviously my uncle didn't have Wendell's 'tache!)
