Resurrection of the great 606 Quizzes.....well kind of.

Post by mc_homer on Wed May 25, 2011 2:55 am

I will be honest.....I don't have the spare time at work that I used to but after the thread on 606 the other day I wanted to try and resurrect our great quiz threads.

My idea is slightly different. The way I intend this to work is I will pose question 1. Whoever can answer that question must post one of their own then whoever answers that again must post theirs simples Smile

ok so my question......

How long was the shortest playoff OT period in NHL history? And I don't mean OT2, 3, 4 whatever I mean the quickest end to OT1.

OK I have looked it up now and I was right Very Happy Sundin you legend.... well actually I was a 1/3 right. Legwand and Ovi share the record but we'll ignore that Wink

My question is...

The frozen fury is an annual pre-season game usually held between which two sides?

I'm going off-field -didn't Pascal Leclaire have a long shutout run 3/4 years ago when he was at Columbus?

I'm thinking left field means someone unexpected. Which is a shame because I was going to go Sawchuck. Now I'm thinking someone like Elliot

I don't think Brian Elliott ever even managed to play consecutive games let alone get a string of shut-outs!!

Wasn't it Brian Boucher? I seem to remember him being unbeatable for a while in Phoenix.
