What games have you seen?
As the question asks! What hockey have you watched in Europe? I have been to a lot of Sheffield Steelers games in the British Elite League, but now I am more into the SM-Liiga.
I have seen 3 games, Jokerit v HIFK (Huge rivalry in Finland), HIFK v Espoo Blues and Espoo Blues v Tappara. However, this Sunday we have got free tickets to go see Jokerit v Blues, and I cannot wait!
The standard of Finnish hockey is quality, seen some quality players play, including Michael Nylander, Mikael Granlund, Ville Peltonen, Ben Eaves and numerous other Finnish youngsters.

Not much. I've been to the Adler Mannheim arena a couple of times. Once to see the home club take on the Sharks in an exhibition game and the other time to watch the World Championships. The Germans seem pretty into their hockey and provide a great soccer style support for their team. If Mannheim was a little closer I'd probably go more regularly and watch their domestic league matches.
Oh yeah, i've also watched the mighty Luxembourg. Good game but exceedingly low on quality...

Nottm Panthers. I don't have a reason to be attached to any continental teams, so none of them can count me as a fan.

I go to see the Sheffield Steelers quite regularly. I'm off next weekend to the home game vs Hull. And then another game after that, but I can't remember off hand.
I've also see an EPL game when I was out for a weekend in Oxford, and we took in Swindon Wildcats vs Telford Tigers. Was a great game, but obviously, the gulf in class is huge.

Love the old fatass, but don't really get to see much of the 2nd tier of German hockey.

Used to be a season ticket holder at MK Kings for four years, and have been to nearly every arena in the country, following them. When at university in Preston, went to see the Storm and the Hawks (Manchester and Blackburn for you young uns) fairly regularly, but since then, not seen much. Will get down to Planet Ice to see the Lightning more now though, and who knows? Have also watched Canada, France and Slovakia with Team GB at home.

I take my one of my stepsons to see the Manchester Phoenix a few times a season, as he's hockey mad (he plays the inline type tho.)
Other than that, it's been local stuff - used to watch the Deeside Dragons play the Cardiff Devils in the 'olden days', went to watch Flintshire Freeze - once!

Re: What games have you seen?
I've attended a few Cardiff Devils games back in the day, back when the Superleague was on and we had had the ugliest player in the game on our team (Ivan Matulik). but hey, we could play and the hockey standard here was good.
Sadly I haven't been able to attend any games since then, so I suppose I should ask how the quality compares these days? I sometimes forget that
as opposed to travelling by train or bus to cardiff I can now just drive there to see a game, so I really should catch a few games!

Don't expect too many no look passes to find a team-mates stick, but they can still be quite entertaining.

I see the Nottingham Panthers alot, depressing as it can be. The only game on the continent I have seen is TPS against Espoo and of course Tepsi came away with the win.
