They did at least acknowledge that Ott is more than just a s*** stirrer and can actually play when they mentioned his goal scoring in the last couple of seasons and he did take back his comments about Paille's hit but he still seems to talk without thinking at times.

Paille has been suspended 4 games btw for that hit.

I was expecting six games at least. The B's obviously knew he was in big trouble because they called Zach Hammill up from the Baby B's before the hearing had taken place. It probably also means that Savvy is done for the season Sad

I was expecting 6-10 range as well but at least they didn't just glance over it like they did with Sestitos hit on Grossman a couple of months back.

That is what surprised me most about Edwards comments CJ, coming from someone involved with the Bruins you would think he would realise the hypocrisy of trying to defend that hit after what happened to Savvy. At least Ference had the guts to say it like it was and fair play to him for that.

Credit to Paille as well, he never tried defending it and you can tell he feels bad for it. I guess this sort of thing was inevitable when tensions and emotions are running so high.

Hmm, now just 3 points back from the Stars are the Ducks...perhaps Dallas won't make the play-offs after all! Razz

It is a slippery slope and not a very long one to the outside of the playoff party! Injuries are starting to hurt us and they have lost their confidence. They have shown periods of improvement in the last couple of games so hopefully they can go and get a result on Wednesday. I still maintain that I will be happy with a playoff spot regardless of where in the top 8 that is!
