Ray Emery ruins goalie fights for all of us

I'm sure you all know, I'm always entertained by a good fight.

Emery vs Holtby was ridiculous though. Emery basically charged into the Caps half of the ice and attacked Holtby, who wasn't looking for a rumble.

The NHL are now looking at a 10-game suspension automatically, for any goalie that takes a fighting major.

We need to go back to the days where we all enjoyed DiPietro getting poleaxed, and everyone simply laughed and thought 'Rick, Rick, Rick. Why is it that only you thought that was a good idea?' and then we all get on our with our lives.

I heard they were looking at suspending if they leave the zone. I hope they do something more along the lines of a suspension if you enter the other teams zone leaving fights at centre ice a possibility if both guys wanna go.

They can't suspend goalies for just leaving the zone. Aren't both gates to the benches in the neutral zone?

You can if you word it "to start an altercation".

Emery is a dick

The only solution i can see is to have a "Goalie Dance Off" while the rest of the team fight around them.
