Varlamov arrested

So during the Pens Bruins game last night twitter went a bit crazy with the news that Varlamov had been arrested for Kidnapping and Assault. The kidnapping charge alone carries a 2-6 year prison sentence if convicted. Pretty crazy stuff.

I Varlamov misses a few games, I hope Roy picks himself as backup!

Maybe this is all an elaborate frame job by Bryzgalov in an attempt to get onto the Russian Olympic team!

Some notes from the police reports....

Varlamov's girlfriend said he pushed her down, stomped on her and dragged her by her hair. Varlamov allegedly told his girlfriend, in Russian, "if this were Russia, he would have beat her more."
