Hey Buff. I'm fine. It's been a bit traumatic here to say the least.

I sometimes take the day off and go and watch, but luckily today I didn't bother.

I've managed to get hold of all my friends who were there and they're all OK which is a hell of a relief. Just waiting for Mr C to get home from work now. He's been in New Hampshire today.

It could get a bit chaotic because they've just announced on the news that people should stay home because the police are looking at the entire marathon route as they've heard there are other devices there. This is awful. I live in one of the towns on the route.

Heck, forgot to say thanks to all of you guys for your tweets asking me if I was safe. That really meant a lot. (Sorry, don't normally get mushy, but I think this warranted it).

Some really scary images coming out of Boston this morning, as amateur footage and the new reports are showing the moments of detonation.

There are already multiple conspiracy theories, from a man photographed standing on a roof overlooking the finish line, to accusations of Islamic involvement.

Hello! And it's all kicking off again. Woke up this morning put the news on the radio, heard my home town mentioned and thought WTF!?

If you've sen the maps of where everything's happening, I live in Newton and we've all been told to stay at home.

Well technically as I have laptop and an internet connection, I'm supposed to be 'working from home'. But I might bake a cake instead.

I love working from home. Gets a bit awkward though when someone wants to have a webcam chat and your still in your PJs....

The women in Bedford make sure they always have corn flakes in their hair. It's an essential look in this town!

This is proabably good practice for you CJ. You want to be prepared if the Bruins Bear ever escapes!

Looks as if this could be all over very soon. It's been an interesting day to say the least.

But at least my local bar has just announced they're open so it may be time for a cheeky beer.

So things are back to normal here now which is a relief. It was bloody scary on Friday watching the news and realizing all that was going on just a couple of miles away.

Suppose I'll have to go to work tomorrow now. Sigh.
