Well, I was gonna pick up Steve Ott, so I've lost out straight away.

You were the one who suggested I pick him up so I would say you lost out by shooting yourself in the foot

If it means that much to you I will cancel that trade or we can start all over if you prefer.

Are you guys waiting around to play games against human teams or just playing them against the CPU whenever? I have too much free time so will always be able to play mine asap.

Playing them properly against each other is probably best but it will be difficult to arrange them all around everyone's schedules.

What happens if I click the "replace as commissioner" button...

I'm free tonight if you are still about and tomz though I might be away for an hour or two around 6/7

I can be on around 9 tonight and I'm free from 3 tomorrow. I suppose if the first game is quick enough we can thrash out both of them tonight unless the other guys fancy a bit of EASHL?

We are aiming to play games against human teams if possible but we can approach each one as it comes. We are waiting for Monty and Jonzee to receive their copies before we begin advancing the schedule for fairness.

Can you see which trades? I assume you'll have to decline one. If the Tampa trade is involved I want that one to go through, you can decline the other one. If it doesn't involve the Tampa trade ill let you pick which one to decline.

To make it fair I have set up a new league called 606HL that has had no games started and no trades.

Can we all join that one and not do any trades until Monty and Jonzee has the game so that we all start off on a level playing field instead of having a load of already processed trades?

That's fine had played some games but I needed the practice anyway. Do you have any idea how things work when trades are made for same player? Do you have to choose which one to select or the 1st one in or what. Maybe to test could you advance the other league if it is still active? Would also help as I've forgotten the exact details of the trades and would love to try and replicate them if that doesn't seem unfair.

I don't have the details but I can advance the schedule which will process them all.

As for trades for the same player I have no idea so could be a good idea to test. As the commish I do have to approve/decline the trades but I have no idea what happens if I approve them all!

If you want to make a trade for someone (preferably someone with low trade value!) I will make a trade for them also and advance the schedule to see what happens.

A do over is fine by me. But that has nothing to do with my results so far and Pacioretty's injury. Honest, ask me mum.

Jonzee and Monty have their games now so we can start the league properly today!

Made a trade of Peverly for Cogliano at the Ducks, to test. So you can maybe do a similar deal and advance to see what happens.

It appears it just takes whatever one I accept first so in the interest of fairness I think the best way to deal with it is that if we get any conflicting trades within the same 3 day period then we decide here who has the fairest offer and accept that one.

Because it takes so long to go through trades the best way to do these trades will be to accept in order of when they were offered. That way there are no complaints over a decision by other GM's and I don't have to go through hundreds of offers!

I am gonna accept all the existing ones, I have gone through them all and no two GM's have traded for the same player so there are no issues there.

Sorry, I was having a problem trying to adjust the settings. I was expecting to have to forfeit for quitting.

If everyone has played all their games I will advance the schedule tonight. If not I will be doing tomorrow at midnight so make sure you have your games done by then at the latest.
