GM Connected

We have started up a GM Connected league on xbox so if anyone would like to join let me know. It is called the JHL (Jopter Hockey League) and so far the taken teams are below.

Dallas Stars - Me
Pittsburgh Penguins - Sportsportsport/PensfanUK
New York Rangers - NYRUK
Montreal Canadians - MockingJay
Calgary Flames - Monty
Philadelphia Flyers - Jonzee (assuming he wants them!)

We will be running 2 weeks of the schedule at a time with each block being played/simmed every 3 days. It is up to you how you play, you can actually play every game or you can act as GM just making trades/signing players or you can act as coach watching the game simmed making changes as needed. Or a combination of course!

The schedule means the league will move on even if people are not about so if you know you are going to be away for a while make sure your team is ready to go without you for a bit!

For people with iPhones there is a GM Connected app that you can use to manage trades and see standings and stuff but not sure if it is on Android/Windows phone.

Been looking for one of these to join, I'll take the Bruins if they are still free.

Yup Bruins are free as are the Sens although J-Iggy I will warn you......they have been involved in a few games already and are at 0-3-0 haha!

Coyotes have also played a few games...

I didn't realise you can't search by description and I can't see a way to send more invites out :S if you guys have trouble finding it let me know. I might just scrap it and start over.

Yeah stick with the original league. It is near the bottom, and didn't actually take that long to find.

Haha well waiting for Monty and Jonzee to get their copies of the game before starting the schedule. Monty was supposed to get it Saturday but it still hasn't turned up! I have a few trades waiting as well

Is there somewhere I can see my trades? I can't even remember my oiler trade! Assuming it all goes through, I just picked up Stamkos and St Luis.

Not until it goes through I believe as I can't see my trades either. I only know what yours was because I get a message to approve or decline all trades as commish

Monty and I will be at a severe disadvantage in this trade front. Once our copies turn up, of course.

I'm in desperate need of faster guys for my 3rd and 4th lines. Will get the ball rolling on trades tonight.

You can do trades on the iPhone app. Think I've made a decent offer when you see it Beef.

It involved Spezza, a couple of young roster players and a couple of picks. They had St Luis on their trade block and at 36 his value wasn't that great.

I don't see how you will be at a disadvantage..... there are some players that teams will refuse to give me that they would a different team. There are 30 teams it isn't like there are only 1 or 2 players worth trading for....

Yeah I saw that, been playing about with it. Sadly it doesn't seem to show me the offer just tell me there is one I will check it when I get home later!
