Draft Order?

Hey guys, am I being completely stupid? I've been looking for the dropbox files and on here and can't find any mention of the draft order? Is there one?

It is reverse order for finish, including a lottery, as per the NHL. You can see last seasons standings in dropbox, season 4, league standings.html. The Watford Capitals pick first, Bearded Badgers last....

Some picks will have been traded of course also. You will have a lot of picks as Iggy had traded for tons so you will have several in the first couple of rounds! I will post up a list soon once I have done the draft lottery.

I think we should reverse the reversed order this year!

Can I just check..... we are doing it exactly like the NHL right? As in positions 1-12 will be in reverse points order for those who did not qualify for the post-season then positions 13-20 will be in reverse order of being knocked out for those who did make the play-offs? So it should be...

Yes that is right Buff. Once I do the draft lottery it should give me a file with the order on so I will get that done tonight.

What do the numbers mean in the position column on the draft rankings? And, what do all the other columns mean?

In the interests of fair play... The Mob have 10th pick in round 1. Should this not have been sent to St Louis as compensation for me 'jumping ship'?

On another note for MockingJay. Do not take the OV rating as your only guidance.

First of all the OV rating in the excel file will NOT be the same as the one in the sim as I put that in as an average for comparison only.

Secondly the OV rating in the sim is also really only for comparison as the simulator does not take OV rating into account at all when simming games. An example of why it shouldn't be paid too much attention to is that someone with 99 fighting and 50 scoring will be rated the same as someone with 50 fighting and 99 scoring (assuming the other stats were the same). Don't know about you but I know which one I would value higher!

If it saves you time...and obviously for my honesty, I don't mind keeping it

Luckily it's my day off so I can spend the day perusing all the stats.

By far the most effective (and entertaining) drafting method!

Bearing in mind the league contraction....What is the draft order for this evening?

It is basically just the same as before with the defunct teams taken out of the listing. Only thing I will be adding is yours and Leafys extra picks that the sim takes away from you.

To do that when it would have been your turn I will let you pick a player then add them manually to your prospect list. That does mean they wont show up on the draft sheet but you will have them in the team.

I just noticed the draft order sheet isn't in dropbox. I will get that added as soon as I get home!
