IIHF links
For countries without a TV contract for the world championships they are streaming live on youtube!
Here are the links
Helsinki: https://www.youtube.com/user/1stvenue
Stockholm: https://www.youtube.com/user/2ndvenue2
First link at the moment is USA vs France and the second is Germany vs Italy

Love it!
Also liked this pic of Chara and Pacioretty shaking hands. Both keeping an eye out for stray stanchions no doubt.

Edit: arse! Just about to head off to the pub and I realize I've cocked up the link.

Must admit I've not really been following these this year but I did see this:
Poor Getzlaf - what a crap season he's had. Gifted the game to the Slovaks...

There have been some brutal hits. One of the Finns crushed Goligoski into the boards earning himself a suspension.
Re: IIHF links
I read earlier that Jamaica and Quatar have been accepted into the IHHF.
Supposed to be on my way to Minneapolis but am currently on the Tarmac in Buffalo. Some guy was taken ill part way through the flight and we had to do an emergency landing. Gawd knows when we will be taking off again.

Oh yes, I imagine the Luxembourg and Irish lads will love a trip to the Carribbean.
And if Mongolia and North Korea can be a member of the IIHF then I guess anyone can!

Re: IIHF links
Sounds like a great idea!
Still stuck in Buffalo. Turns out the poorly chap was dehydrated and vomiting due being out on the lash last night. All sympathy immediately evaporated. Apparently we are just waiting for some paperwork to be completed and we can take off.
