NHL Jerseys
Hi folks
Because I'm no longer a poor student I can afford to get a jersey now
Any websites that are best to get from? What is the sizing like? My t-shirt size is a Large.
Thanks

Re: NHL Jerseys
A few of us have got jerseys from Cool Hockey. They probably have a sizing guide on the site.

Re: NHL Jerseys
Are you wanting one to just wear for the sake of it or are you wanting to actually play hockey in it?
If you're an L in tees, then an L in replica jerseys is likely to be fine. However, if you're wanting to put it over body armour and pads, then you'd need an XXL in replica.

I have to agree. I don't like the whole "let's make a pink jersey for girls" thing that most North American sports teams do.
If a girl is a proper fan she'll want the official colours.

It's pink for the Breast Cancer awareness thing they do. Just so you know.

Not always. My pink woolly Bruins hat is a breast cancer awareness one, but a lot of the pink stuff is purely aimed at the Barbie fans. I've seen some awfully girly stuff.
(I do like the purple gear that some of the teams have got - again, a cancer awareness thing)

Oh right. In the NFL their shop is inundated with the pink crap all the way thru Breast Cancer month.

I beg to differ, there are plenty of form fitting jerseys and well......I won't go too far into that

Ha-ha. Yeah, I'm not by any means a dedicated follower of fashion but I do know that one of the basics is that an item of clothing must fit the body well. And big baggy oversized garments look terrible. Maybe you can get "form fitting" as you say but you've only got to go and watch a live game to see that pretty much most hockey fans favour the 'boy in a man's clothes' look. Personally I just stick to t-shirts.

I propose a policy that only allows women to buy these replica jerseys --->

Bless you, Iggy.
Given the missing teams I can only conclude that American girls are much pretty than Canadians...

Re: NHL Jerseys
Yes well, after flicking through those pics I now feel completely demoralised. There is no way on earth I could fit my arse into those tiny orange Flyers shorts even if I wanted to (which I don't)
Though I did notice that the Bruins ice girls are not allowed anywhere near a shovel or a bucket and have instead been given the onerous task of throwing t-shirts at people.
I remember when me and Mr C went to watch the Stars, Mr C was very taken with the shoveling skills of the young ladies from Dallas.
