Im gonna miss his warm calming smile... Sad

Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind
Memories, sweetened thru the ages just like wine

Quiet thought come floating down
And settle softly to the ground
Like golden autumn leaves around my feet
I touched them and they burst apart with sweet memories,
Sweet memories

Flames fire Sutter Sutters

Of holding hands and red bouquets
And twilight trimmed in purple haze
And laughing eyes and simple ways
And quiet nights and gentle days with you

As Sutter only had 6-8wks left on his contract, I would hardly call it a sacking.

I wouldn't suprise me if the Flames were wanting to go one way, Sutter the other, so they both decided to cut their losses.

Not much was going to happen before the end of his contract. This gives both parties time to sort themselves out

Allegedly, Sutter wanted to rebuild and go younger, whereas Feaster wanted to stick with the Iggys and Kippers of Cowtown and hope for a playoff run. That's one vet goalie off Toronto's radar then....

I think its more the owners wanting to win now at all costs, rather then Feaster. Sutter had started to get a lot of fan support over the last few months. It will be a very busy off season for us, so ill wait and see what they can come up with.

Good luck to Sutter though, hes off to the World Championships with Team Canada!

According to Dreger , Rangers assistant coach Mike Sullivan is a possible candidate for the job. If that was to happen well all I can do is cry for Calgary fans. The Rangers have been brilliant this year but he is the PP coach and for the 1,000,000th time the Rangers have one of the worst PP's in the league. As an assistant he isnt brilliant but god as a head coach god help the Flames. I know he was coach with the Bruins a few years ago but I cant really comment on his time with the Bruins.
