For those whose team didn't make it......

There are a lot of us here! Which (if any) team will you be lending your playoff beards to this year?

For me it is Mr Hitchcock and the St Louis Blues!

I have always like the Sens so there my team for now (I got my T-Shirt out yesterday). It's hard not to want the Blues to do well. So St Louis vs Ottawa would be perfect

Yeah, go Blues and also Yotes. From the East I'll cheer for the Cats. But hell, if it isn't the Ducks I don't really give a shit who wins.

The pick of the 1st round match-ups for me is the Flyers v Penguins so I'll probably try and catch a few of their games.

As a New York Giants fan I generally go by anyone but Philadelphia, and as I support the Habs it's anyone but Boston. Following NYG the Rangers are my "2nd team".

From the west I'd like the Kings to make a splash.

Can see a Rangers vs anyone final. Preferably the Kings or Predators.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Yotes do well either ronnie, weird eh? Still a fan of Tipps so would be cool to see him get somewhere.

Could never cheer on the Sharks or Kings though...... Go Canucks/Blues for those ones haha!

Yeah when it comes to the Pacific division obviously for the Ducks there's the local rivalry between the other Cali teams and then of course the past history with the Stars but the Yotes have never done much of anything and therefore I find them completely inoffensive. I'll always root for the under(desert)dog....

Same here, aside from Doan's little elbow to Benn recently I haven't had a reason to hate the yotes, they are kinda....just there. The Ducks and Sharks we have had very heated rivalries with thanks to fighting for the division plus past playoff series and the Kings.....well they are just a dirty team!

If I had to choose a team in the East I think I will take the Caps. Not sure why, none of the Eastern teams really appeal to me much....

Yeah, Doan has a little bit of an edge to his game. He got suspended last season for a naughty head hit on young Cam Fowler.

Edit: The suspension was actually for a hit on Dan Sexton - but he also did lay out Fowler in the same game. Dirrrty fucker...

I shall be lending my hope to the Nashville predators, I have generally kept an eye on them as my '2nd team' since the gaylord arena days!!

I will be supporting all things musical so St Louis it is. Eagerly awaiting the Nashville-Detroit and Pittsburgh-Philly series'.

Oh and I am going to call it now because I am that dam good... Chicago vs Pittsburgh in the Finals.

I have these little puck things that came from an NHL version of kinder surprise that Mandy bought me....I got a goal and 2 pucks, one with the Blues on it and one with the Bruins....I am gonna take that as a sign and say Blues-Bruins final!

My beard goes to Hollywood this year. LA have one of my favourite players in Kopitar, one of my favourite d-men in Doughty and a stack load of my money at bet365. I thought the addition of Richards and Gagne might do them good, but now they have Mr Carter as well, I can see them surprising the 'Nucks and going on a charge. And it would be nice to see the Lord Stanleys Pot go somewhere new...
