You bastards! I'm stuck in the office. Bloody Americans not recognizing proper holidays

Don't you dare eat my Easter eggs or there'll be trouble.

Yes I may be on holiday but whilst missing my 12 hour 45 minute shift on a multi storrey car park the standard borough council pay for bank holidays is 7 hours 24 minutes.

As much as I like being paid to have a day off I'm pretty peaved that I'm losing 5 hours pay and people who would of been off anyway are gaining 7 hours 24 minutes!

Yep, it certainly surprised me that we don't get the Easter holidays. Halloween seems to be more important

Thanksgiving is just like Christmas but without the presents or crap films on TV.

And for some reason I always feel a bit guilty about taking Independence Day and think I ought to be at work

Presidents day? Columbus Day?

We have a President, so take a day off.
A Portugeuse bloke found our country...only a few decades after a bunch of other people who were here well before him but didn't have the publicity or backing of the Spanish royalty and as such didn't have the marketing Columbus had...so take a day off.

Bank holiday is a bit of a pisstake if we are being honest. They have enough days off as it is!
