Beefs face tough run to playoffs Empty Beefs face tough run to playoffs

What was looking like a straight forward run to the playoffs is not becoming increasingly close. The Beefs have begun to slide a bit in recent games losing 3 of their last 4 games while the Victory continue to pile on the pressure winning 7 of their last 9 games.

The result of this leaves only a 3 point gap with 6 games to go.

The Beefs schedule (with record) looks like this
Shamrocks (2-2-1) at home
Ducks (4-2-0) at home
Ducks (4-2-0) on the road
Zombies (3-1-1) on the road
Victory (5-1-1) at home
Marauders (1-0-0) at home

While the Victory's schedule looks like this
Rex (0-1-0) at home
Badgers (4-3-0) on the road
Buttercups (2-4-1) at home
Crunch (4-1-0) at home
Beefs (2-4-1) on the road
Cherrypickers (1-0-0) at home

The records would seem to favour the Beefs but at this stage of the season anything could happen and with a huge game at the streakhouse that could decide who is in and who is out records will surely go out of the window.

GM Homer is reportedly cracking open the whiskey again to calm his nerves.
