Changing teams!
So we have thought long and hard about this and have decided to allow GM's to change teams. Naturally there will be some restrictions and below is how I am looking to implement this. Sportsportsport and BuffonIdol will be joining me in managing this.
This will be in effect from the conclusion of this seasons playoffs.
- Applications will be submitted to myself.
- If multiple offers are submitted then it will be put to a vote among the other GM's as to who will be awarded the team.
- GM's must remain in their new post for at least one full season before making an offer to relocate again.
- GM's who change are obliged to commit to that new team for 3 seasons. If they change teams again within that time then they will pay compensation to the old team by way of draft picks as follows.
Change after 1 season = 1st rounder
Change after 2 seasons = 2nd rounder
Change after 3 seasons = no compensation - To create fairness for any new joiners and as this is something completely new we are starting from scratch with commitments from season 5 so for example, if a GM would like to move teams in this off season they will be paying a 1st rounder in compensation to the old team.
- The compensation outlined here is a guideline only The commission will take into account other circumstances as necessary. GMs will be asked to confirm they are willing to accept the compensation agreement before the switch to the new team is completed.
- If a GM is seen to be swapping teams too often then the commission reserves the right to veto an offer for relocation.
- GM's cannot submit an offer for a team already under control of another GM.
This will be in effect from the conclusion of this seasons playoffs.
Re: Changing teams!
Sorry to be a pain, Mr Homer. Any chance of a list of available teams...
Unless the KSG and Marauders are the only 2.

At the moment just those two but Meat Surprise didn't reply to last attendance thread. I will put a list of teams up in the next couple of weeks as it could be 3 maybe 4 teams available.....
This isn't starting til off season anyways so they will be up well before then. I will create a sticky thread so that there is a permanent list of available teams.

Not even sure if it is possible but as part of this idea would realignment be a possibility? Not that I particularly think it's necessary just thought it was a good other side to this that may help freshen things up a bit.

Re: Changing teams!
I would love to do that tbh but I can't do that without starting over. I can't even change the names of the divisions! Hence why we have Division 1, 2, 4 and 5
