Skating backwards, Kronwall leaves his feet, annhilates Kesler, and doesn't get a penalty.

Even as a Red Wings fan, I expected a penalty on that one. Needless to say, the Canucks felt incandescent, and instead of collapsing with rage, they fought off the penalty, and went on to score again!

I loved that - a Rob Blake classic hit from Kronwall that should have been a penalty, Kesler gets a roughing call, but we go and score 15 seconds into our PK

Less said about last night the better

As if Kesler has to get up to defend himself.... where are his team mates? Sure Raymond skates over and falls on his front and Salo rests his hand on someones shoulder but really someone should be roughing Kronwall up there

We defend our team-mates where it counts - on the score sheet. As proved by the resulting SH goal. I'd rather that than pick up PIMs aplenty from a roster full of offensively- challenged plugs.

Since when did scoring ever stop big nasty hits? Big nasty hits have certianly stopped scoring many a time. Work that one out.

Our team would rather win than retaliate. I think we're pretty darn good at doing what actually matters...
