Welcome New Badgers

The Bearded Badgers would like to welcome the following players drafted last night to the organisation.

Lucas Lessio - 1st round 15th Overall

Lucas is a solid winger who can play on both sides of the ice. He brings a solid goal scoring record having put up 27 goals in 66 games for the Oshawa Generals.

Vincent Trocheck - 2nd round 35th Overall

Vincent was selected for his playmaking skills. He has great vision on the ice and he brings a very solid face off percentage too.

Jonathan Miller - 3rd round 55th Overall

J.T is another centre who brings a solid passing game to the ice. Despite being overlooked until the third round, we at the Badgers believe that Miller will be one to watch.

Joseph Morrow 4th round 75th Overall

Joe is a solid all round d-man who will contribute from the blue line. Last season Morrow put up 49pts in 60 games for the Portland Winterhawks.

Shane Prince 5th round 95th Overall

Shane has been a late bloomer in hockey which would explain why he dropped so low in the draft. However 88pts in 59 games last year for the young Centre is hopefully signs of what is to come!
