Tonight: Game Four
I could do a massively long Game Four preview, but I'm far too nervous
Here's hoping both teams play controlled hockey, no face washing, no goalie hits, no late hits...clean hockey to give all NHL fans the Stanley Cup Final spectacle they deserve.

Looks like Seguin is going to be given his chance to make an impact again. Glad Horton was still well enough to be released from hospital though there is no doubt the final will be poorer in his absence. I am actually hoping for a another game 3, that was great to watch regardless of the result.

Both teams have been given a warning about provocative finger waggling.
Hope Seguin can make an impact (hmm, perhaps not the best choice of words, but you know what I mean)

I'm sick of this. It's the STANLEY CUP FINAL for fucks sake, put in some fucking effort! Not taking anything away from another dominant Bruins performance, but we're playing more like the Basingstoke Bisons than the Presidents Trophy-winning team we're meant to be. Such a disappointment

Luuuuuuuuuu
What's that, 12 goals in 2 games. He let in 4 on 20 shots. Has the Luongo love affair come to an end for Vancouver?
I reckon the Canucks will have to play Schneider next game. Bobby is just not doing the business.

Its going to be a real test of character now, Azzy. Thats two real beatings the Canucks have endured, in more ways than one.
The next game is absolutely massive. Home ice should help.

Honorary captain for game 3 Cam Neely #8 goals scored by Boston 8. Honorary captain for game 4, Bobby Orr can anyone remember what Bobby's number was

I would advise the Bruins to make Ray Bourque their next honorary captain.

Awesome performance by the Bruins. Timmy was a beast. Loved it when Mike Milbury renamed the Sedins Thelma and Louise.

According to all the reports, the Canucks are sticking with Lu and he'll be in goal tomorrow night.

Sources are reporting that Luongo is pregnant. It seems he's missed his last 5 periods.

Re: Tonight: Game Four
That was a huge game. Even if Boston can hold serve I still see the Nucks taking this in a game 7. I tried to think of an analogy for this series but it is quite unlike anything else. The best I could come up with was a tennis match between Andre Agassi (Nucks) and Andy Roddick (B's).

Re: Tonight: Game Four
ffs - Boston ruined yesterday's game as a spectacle inside the first 10 minutes! It's strange to say that despite the Stanley Cup finals going to a 7th game it hasn't felt like a classic series. Hopefully they're saving the best until last! For me, overall the Bruins have easily been the more impressive of the two sides and yet I'd make the Nucks favourite on home ice....

Home ice seems to count for a lot this series, so I'll say the Canucks take it.

I bet the Wings thought that too in 2009....

Re: Tonight: Game Four
I give up! I have no f**king idea which way this is going. Look at that. I'm so discombobulated I've started swearing and that rarely happens.
Definitely not a classic series. Way too many penalties, and ridiculous trash talking for that.
Best comment I saw on Faceache was a Bruins fan asking if Luongo was the Italian word for sieve.
Ah well. Here's to a good game from both teams. I have a feeling home ice is going to tip it in favour of the Nucks.
Go Bruins!

LOL!
Just one of the reasons I'd be a little frustrated as a Bruins fan if they end up losing the series; Timmy T has been immense in comparison. In fact he's been immense by any comparison. Bruins have been utterly devastating at home and made the Nucks D look shambolic at times - and yet they keep coming up a little short on the road each game. Maybe as it's now all or nothing for the clubs it'll bring out the best in both sets of players.

Re: Tonight: Game Four
I guess it depends on your opinion of a 'classic' series. To me I have not seen two teams, who have no real history between them, hate each other right from the drop of the first puck.
To me the borderline hits, trash talking, pure hatred towards one another is half of what makes a playoff series entertaining. Does everyone remember the Wings/Avs rivalry and look fondly back on those series because of close games or high scoring battles or even 2 great goalies going head to head....no they remember that series because of Claude Lemiuex trying to remove Draper from his face and the mayhem and hatred that created between the teams. It has taken many a year for that intensity to die down and although this series isn't on the same level as that I bet you these two will have long memories when it comes to the events of the past couple of weeks.
I have not been fully into this playoffs after the pain of how we missed it but this final has really grabbed my attention and I am enjoying it an awful lot more than last years final. In fact I think this has been the final I have enjoyed most since the Tampa/Calgary final pre-lockout.
One thing....I am very glad game 7 is in Vancouver because if it was in Boston you might as well hand the cup over now. In Vancouver the games have been so close anything can happen. Also I dislike Boston a lot so would prefer the Canucks to win it however I would love to see Thomas win it as I don't think there is a single person on either team who deserves it more than he. If he doesn't win the Conn Smythe regardless of who wins the cup then there is something very wrong in my eyes.

Yep, the Bruins have scored 19 goals compared to 8 from the Nucks. Yet they don't seem to be able to take that explosiveness on road trips.
It was great to see Nathan Horton last night. He's very quickly become a fan favourite here. Something Kaberle is still working on.
